The War of the Future

May 4, 2017

A drone once built to accomplish targeted strikes has been repurposed to strike against the war of the future: climate change. “ArcticShark” was initially used to strike against roadside bombs that wreaked havoc on civilians and US troops. But since pulling back from militarized force in Afghanistan, ArticShark has had less and less work.

Until now: Navmar Applied Science Corp pivoted away from Defense Contracts in search of more stable work. Instead of flying through the Afghani desert, the Shark is headed for sub-Arctic temperatures at a cool 75 mph. There, it will aid atmospheric scientists in their quest for a stronger understanding of how clouds form… which could eventually tell us how to cure the world of climate change. Ahoy, ArcticShark.
